Walk On Paint: An art-based virtual reality game

This proof of concept is an experience that merges art and games into virtual reality.

Our promotional work on Marvel's Dr. Strange movie, inspired us to create art in virtual reality. Tools like Tilt Brush and Quill are easy to use and designed for artists.

Walk On Paint would set up a simple framework for an artist to create  work that a user can walk through. We'll add minimal interactions to  encourage simple game mechanics and puzzles related to the art. The  artist's imagination and creativity are their only limits.

In exploring this idea, we took inspiration from That Game Companies' Journey and Flower "experiences" and Media Molecule's Little Big Planet's immersive play and user-created content.

In this experience, we walk the user through simple controls and some  of the game dynamics with a simple level or two; you collect stars  that, when brought together, create a constellation that restores the  Goddess of Magic. She rewards you by opening the "Plateau of Portals,"  where you can enjoy a wealth of artist-created experiences.
